I recently learned that I have been accepted to be part of the 2018 BibRave Pro team!
A few months ago, I was talking with a running friend and we both agreed that if we could just run races and talk about running races for the rest of our lives, we would be very happy campers. Well guess what?? I’m here to tell you that dreams really do come true.
BibRave is a website dedicated to helping runners find the best races. I can’t remember when I first learned about the website, but I do know that I’ve had it bookmarked for ages and its one that I frequently turn to when I’m trying to decide whether or not to run a race. Anybody can write a review for a race on the website. And that means that for any race you may be considering, you can look on BibRave to find reviews from real people about their race experiences and decide if you want to run it. Because there is nothing worse than falling for the hype on a race website and laying down the $ to run it only to realize that the race has a bad reputation among runners.
As a BibRave Pro, I’ll get the opportunity to run lots of races in exchange for some race promo ahead of time and real, honest reviews about the race once I’ve run it. I can do that! Just a heads up, any races or products that I review as part of the BibRave team will have this disclaimer:
“I received a XYZ to review [or I received a free entry to XYZ race] as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review find and write race reviews!”
So you can take it or leave it as you see fit, but just know that there is no incentive for me to be untruthful in my reviews. If I don’t like it, I’ll tell you that. Because first and foremost, I’m a runner and just like you, I want and need good info too!
As a BibRave Pro, I also get access to discounts on races and products that I can share with others. You can find that list of discounts right here:
So there you have it, I’m going pro (well sort of) with the BibRave Pro team. I can’t wait to see which if any races I will be selected to run next year. Bring on the running for 2018!
